Hye Ranch Residence

Our client wanted to build a living oasis on her ranch land near the small town of Hye, west of Johnson City.  Together we created a modern residence of glass, steel and rammed earth, using soil saved from nearby pond excavations.  The house sits calmly amongst a grove of ancient live oaks, as if it was always meant to be there.
